Discord Manager

Discord Manager skill gives your Claude agent comprehensive control over Discord servers via the Discord Bot API. Send messages to any channel your bot has access to, create and manage text and voice channels, assign and remove roles, kick or ban members, and bulk-delete messages for moderation cleanup — all through natural language commands.

Message formatting leverages Discord's full Markdown flavor: bold, italic, code blocks, embeds with thumbnails and field layouts, and mention support (@user, @role, #channel). The skill also handles file attachments, enabling your agent to post generated images, reports, or data exports directly into Discord channels.

Server automation use cases: welcome new members with personalized messages that mention their username and link to server rules, monitor specific channels for keywords and escalate to a mod role, post scheduled announcements at configured times, or sync role assignments with an external database. Thread management is included — create threaded discussions from any message and keep conversations organized.

The skill supports multiple servers simultaneously under one bot token, useful for community managers overseeing several Discord communities. Requires creating a Discord Application and Bot in the Discord Developer Portal (free) and inviting it to your server with appropriate permissions. Combine with Web Scraper or News Monitor to build an automated news bot that posts relevant updates to topical channels.
